We're selecting five UK bakeries for a six-month founding pilot.
Six months of access to the pilot feature set at no cost. In return, we ask you to use it in your bakery, share structured feedback, and help us refine it for real production use.
The Cloud Bakery® brings recipe costing, food safety records, allergen labelling and ingredient traceability into one connected system designed around bakery operations.
Apply for a Founding PlaceFive pilot places. UK bakeries only. No subscription fee during the six-month pilot.
The Problem
Bakery production already comes with enough moving parts.
If HACCP records are still partly paper-based or spread across different places, preparing for an EHO visit can mean pulling information together at short notice.
If product costing is maintained separately from current ingredient prices, yield and wastage, it can be difficult to see the true cost and margin of each product.
A supplier or ingredient change can affect allergen information, which means recipe and label data need to stay connected when something changes.
The Cloud Bakery® is built to bring the records behind all three into one system. Now we're looking for five UK bakeries to test it in real production use.
The Offer
What Founding Bakeries Get
What you get
- Full access to the agreed pilot feature set: recipe costing, food safety records, allergen label information, ingredient traceability, invoicing, customer orders and delivery routes
- A 1:1 onboarding session with Mikey Koszo, founder of The Cloud Bakery®
- Monthly check-in sessions, with pilot feedback feeding directly into product decisions and priorities
- Direct contact with the founder throughout the pilot
- A 20% founding-bakery discount on the standard subscription price, for as long as your subscription remains continuously active after the pilot
What we ask
- Active use for 6 months — completing the agreed workflows in your bakery
- Monthly check-in calls (pre-scheduled, 45 minutes)
- A short written review at month 3 and month 6
- A case study conversation at the end — if the platform has delivered real value
One of the pilot goals is to measure how much day-to-day administrative time the system requires once each bakery is set up.
This is not a free trial. It is a six-month pilot with commitments on both sides. We select participating bakeries carefully and ask for active use and structured feedback throughout the programme. If that commitment is not practical right now, there is no obligation to apply.
The Founder
Built by someone who has worked in bakery production.
I trained as a baker in Hungary and worked for five years in the Hungarian bakery industry before moving to the UK. Over the following fifteen years, I worked across restaurants, a five-star hotel, an artisan bakery and industrial bakery production.
I know the early starts, production pressure, EHO visits, allergen documentation and the difficulty of keeping product costings accurate as prices and yields change.
I built The Cloud Bakery® because I wanted a system designed around those day-to-day realities. The platform is based on bakery production experience, not assumptions about how a bakery should work.
The Founding Bakery Programme exists so the first external users can actively help refine the platform through real production use and structured feedback.
Mikey Koszo — Founder, The Cloud Bakery®
Built from real production kitchens. Now opening to its first 5 external bakeries.
The pilot will not be right for every bakery.
It is intended for businesses that can use the platform actively and give structured feedback over six months.

The Platform
What the platform does
Recipe Costing
Cost per unit based on the yield and wastage recorded for each recipe, rather than on purchase weight alone.
Food Safety Records
Scheduled checks, cleaning and calibration records, complaints, corrective actions and controlled documents kept in one place, so they are easy to find when an inspector asks.
Allergen Labels
Prepares PPDS label information directly from your recipe and ingredient data. Label accuracy depends on the allergen data you enter.
Ingredient Traceability
Lot-level tracking from supplier delivery through to production batches, supporting the traceability records food businesses need to maintain. Trace a batch from its lot number without searching through separate paper records.
Invoicing
Invoices with mixed-rate food VAT handling, built for the complexity of selling food in the UK.
Customers & Delivery Routes
Wholesale order management, standing orders and delivery route planning, in the same system as everything else.
